Love the animals!!! SAFARI!

Spent part of a day here in our 4 day visit. We really loved the Kilimanjaro Safari ride! LOTS of animals and close up! Personal favorite because I am an animal lover.

Loved the safari and shows, especially the Lion King Show. The new River of Light show was nice, albeit delayed. Unfortunately my little girl's lunch didn't agree with her and we wound up staying in First Aid station to let her rest. The nurses there were very kind and accommodating. Fortunately, we had gone there once before some years ago... More

I think this park will really pick up once they open the new Avatar land. At this point there just isn't all that much to do. It is definitely a 1/2 day or 3/4 day park. I definitely recommend hitting the safari early because the animals are more active. But don't haul back there at rope drop like we did... More

Safari wait was over 2 hours with no fast-pass, SO GET A FAST PASS!!! I think the lines are so long because there's so few attractions to go to. Plenty of places to eat and buy Disney paraphernalia though. Safari was only 20 minutes, but saw a lot of animals. My husband and I are in our 50s, so we... More

We went to AK in late November, as soon as the park opened it was announced that Dinosaur was broken down, so did alternative rides. We enjoyed Expedition Everset and then went to Kali River Rapids and found it broken down also. After doing the safari etc all we wanted to do was to go on the River Rapids and... More

I spent the day touring this amazing park. Important in central FL, this attraction provided many shaded trails for a respite from that reliable sunshine. The visual details in Africa and Asia are witty and enhance the impression you are in another country. My husband noted the third world exterior of the restrooms juxtaposed with the bright and clean interior... More

Witnessing wildlife at Disney World's Animal Kingdom was a real delight. I've been to zoos many times, but seeing animals Disney style was wonderful. The animal enclosures were very natural with live trees, shrubs and grass. Taking the safari truck thru the park to see hippos, rhinos, lions, elephants and more was spectacular! Of the 4 parks, animal kingdom was... More

Kilimanjaro Safaris at Animal Kingdom is amazing. You can see elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions and rhinoceroses without travelling to Africa.
