I almost don't want to review this island favorably because I don't want more people to go there and spoil it. It is a great place for families - it is nice and quiet, definitely NOT a party scene. It's beautiful.

Not if we stop here or not since the beach we went too wasn't named. We just drove all the way to the top of the island till the road turned into a small public beach parking lot. This is just a small no facilities...More

Get an early start for parking,Walk this beach for hours or sit on the sandy beach,Enjoy shelling to you heart content.Sometimes crowded but there is always room...

The picture shows a bunch of shells, this is not always. Stormy weather before or high seas can help.

Our family comes here every year and loves the breathtaking views and shelling at Captiva Pass! The sunrises and sunsets are never disappointing and we intend to visit many more times in the years to come!

beautiful beach with lots of shells...the water was gorgeous and just right only problem is VERY limited parking. Get there early

Perfect Perfect place for either fishing over the bridge or going to tan and lay out on the beach and watch the sunset and sunrise.

Is one of my favorite places to take visitors, as well and a place I love to go myself. The beach extends for quite a long way, the water has enough action to bring in shells but not beat you up like on the East...More
