Great beach if you like to pick up shells. Make sure you wear some sandals. I would visit again. Loved the area

Nokomis Beach is located on the southern end of Casey Key. This beach is a local stop for the folks that live here, and the snow birds that found it. The parking is great, just a short walk to the sand and the waters edge....More

Wonderful Gulf Coast Beach. Lots of parking. Snack bar and clean restrooms. Fabulous place to spend the day alone or with friends and family. Look close and you will find sharks teeth,

Not a fisherman, but there were several people fishing. I think it might be better a little closer to the Jetties.

No, not at Nokomis. Travel down farther south, past Venice Beach, near Sharkeys and you will find a dog beach.
