It seems like the hurricane knocked out the red tide for now. This is a beautiful beach. We didn’t stay long because we did not have enough time. It is on Casey Key. We just wanted to check it out! And we will definitely return!
We have gone to this beach every time we stay at Oscar Sherer State Park. It is close, a little less well maintained than Venice, but also less crowded and if you park right you can walk to the Venice beach.

This is an old style Florida beach with a relaxed atmosphere unlike Siesta Key to the north. The parking is adequate and right next to the beach. The kids will enjoy searching for sharks' teeth all day long. There is plenty of beach to take...More
First time at this beach. Nice options to be at the beach or walk along the jetty. We saw dolphins and turtles, along with numerous birds. They also have a snack bar, restrooms and rentals for kayaks or paddleboards.
