Very quiet beach to relax, no animals!! Very clean!! Don't have to worry about your kids getting into things. Fun atmosphere!

This was our first trip to this park to give our dog a fun afternoon at the beach. The park is decent, but pretty narrow swath of beach with brown water. Wish dogs could be off leash. Nice dog rinse station at the parking lot.

Very remote and reminder of how all of Florida probably like 100 years ago. There were very few people there so it was a very nice getaway.

Everyone in New Smyrna Beach works hard to preserve the natural landscape. It is beautiful!! This is truly a old fashioned Beach town, lots of fun

The dunes are simply beautiful, there are rules posted on signs that dogs need to be on a leash or you'll get a fine but no one is enforcing them. Some dog owners think because a lease is attached to their dog that it's OK...More

Love coming to Smyrna Dunes and bringing our 12# poodle. We go early so we can walk the boardwalk. Always a positive experience!

Don't think you can use it. But, after 5 p.m. the park is free. If you are staying for more than 2 days and want to go with the dogs during the day. Buy the pass. You can go in and out of the park as many times during the... More

Unfortunately, the boardwalk is not continuous. There is a short stretch between the doggie beach boardwalk and the boardwalk from the parking lot that crosses the sandy foot path. A distance, I'd guess, of 25-30 feet.
