New Smyrna Beach is very fortunate to have a place like The Hub, where one can enjoy a variety of classes for all levels (incl. beginning ukulele!). Plus, the local artists provide quite an array of reasonably priced art. There are music nights periodically throughout the month. If you're coming to New Smyrna Beach area, your should definitely check The... More

My daughter played in a flute ensemble here Saturday. They offer classes and musical entertainment in addition to a really nice working gallery. Very nice quality artwork and friendly staff and artists.

The Hub is a unique place to visit. We attended a music reception, Two Hawks, a Lakota Indian, Grammy award winning flute player was a Friday night event. Also, and most important is the beautiful art work, paintings in oil, acrylic and watercolors displayed and for sale. I became very inspired after I saw a Saturday afternoon talk and demo... More

My husband and I chose The Hub on Canal for our wedding ceremony and reception without visiting it first. We currently live in Arkansas, but almost his entire family is in the NSB area, and NSB is our favorite place to vacation, so having our wedding in Florida made sense. Everything had to be handled long distance and the ladies... More

This place was so cool. I have never been to a studio where you could interact with the artists while they were creating pieces. You could also commission work and many artists have websites to follow them and buy additional pieces. Fun.

Brilliant visit to view the talented work of the various artists. Sometimes you can view them at work. The wildlife wooden sculptures were really beautiful. There is opportunity to take photos as well. Unfortunately a powere cut due to a storm prevented us from viewing upstairs so will have to leave thart for another day.

Every first Saturday of the month, historic downtown New Smyrna has an event called "First Saturday" with street vendors and artists along with the regular Saturday famers market. The Hub is a special place in downtown. Its an artist museum/workshop/community learning center that is staffed by extremely welcoming volunteers. You can see wonderful art work, see the artists creating in... More

Three weeks ago my wife signed up for a painting class[ 3 hours]. They called today and said cancelled with less than a days notice. So all our plans around the class must be redone, and there was nothing in the sign up about how many or that it could be cancelled. Next time we will sign up with Bob... More

A mix of styles, art work that is classic yet original, modern and ancient all in open studio's where you wander at will admiring the various paintings, beautiful sculptures, ceramics and fibre work's are also shown. Well worth a visit in its own right.
