A nice drive to see the intercoastal and the ocean. It's very different. Secluded and quiet. Most of the time you can't see the water. $10 fee to get in. I'm not sure it's worth it unless you fish or hike.

Great Place to go and visit. We paid $10 for the car and passengers but could also have bought a National Park Pass. Great views and easy drive.

Take the path to the left and you will find a picnic table on the edge of the Indian river. Bring a lunch. Watch for dolphins.

It's possible to get the sense of the park from the car (thirty minutes tops) but you'll get a better appreciation if you get out and walk the shore (one hour should do it). This place is mostly for people who like nature and history....More
