The sun set from the end of the pier was magnificent. Since it face in the direction on the sun set it is the perfect place for photos. Recommend stopping by around sun set.

Stopped here hoping to fish but they do not have a bit shop on the pier and the nearest shop was a bit away so did not get to fish. Did let my son body surf in the waves and we saw plenty of dolphin...More

While it is great there are no fees or licenses needed to fish this place seems overfished. However, there seems to be a group of dolphins that circle the pier waiting for "free" food from those fishing. Watching them circle and swim among those on...More

Parked up and walked out to the pier, glad we did, well kept and clean. A few old characters out there fishing who made us smile with their cheeky banter. Got to see Fish and dolphins on our visit and enjoyed our visit. Would recommend.

Loved it, the pier was nice to walk and cleaned. Enjoyed sunrises and sunsets. I would recommend everyone to visit it at least once in their lives.

It's a must visit, and always relaxing to stroll in the evening moonlight. Great for anyone for any reason.

We went fishing off the pier in two different occasions during our visit. Both days dolphins were easily observed and photographed from the pier and shore. While swimming the dolphins came close to us in the water. We did not catch fish either day, but...More

Nice Gulf breeze, great views. Watching the fishermen & women & children competing with the seagulls for the fish.

Hi! What time or how early do you suggest getting there to park before it gets too crowded and parking becomes an issue? I want to go to experience the sun setting and grab a bite to eat on pier. However, I don't want to go too early and be hot and miserable. Thanks

Parking at the pier area is limited and requires payment. It is all electronic and easy. Now, finding a spot can be difficult between November and April. I would suggest getting there 2 hours before sunset and be prepared to... More

Comment on the Muni-Meters. I can't recall where but might have been Montreal. You could add time to your meter using a smartphone. Now that's a useful APP at the beach!
