there is a lovely beach here but I went twice for the sunset and was not disappointed though I was a bit late the second time due to traffic. Boats and birds through the setting sun help make for gorgeous pictures and scenery! Where I went was paid parking...quarters only!! I put 2 quarters in the first time cuz I... More

We've been in Naples in January 2017 and the Pier is a "must see". Extremely long, not overcrowded. We saw many birds and even a Dolphin swimming to the left and right of the Pier :-)

Although the pier was packed and didn't imagine it would be this crowded, it's a gorgeous view. The best way to catch some cool pictures with it, is going to the Pier's right side so you can catch the sun and the pier in your shot. If you stay longer after the sun sets, you might get beautiful pictures from... More

We went to Pier to watch sunset, it was perfect. The beach was white sand to walk on . Lot of people were fishing.

It's a must-visit for tourists. Always tons of people sauntering up and down the pier. Great facilities, too.

The pier walkway has been totally reconstructed with hardwood flooring and rails. A tremendous job. The original was well worn with occasional repairs and trip hazards, not any more. A lovely walk out to view the sunset over the horizon and to join in the clapping as it disappears. Many persons lean over the rails with fishing poles to catch... More

Great fun to get a little exercise and walk down to the pier each day while staying in Old Naples. Good for pelican and people watching. There is a window that sells basic food and drink as well as bathrooms. Fishing is allowed without a permit from the pier. Very friendly spot.

If you've been to any seaside town, you've probably walked a pier. The Naples Pier is not unlike others in that it is surrounded by beach and water. However, what makes it special is that it's reasonably wide and long, accommodating a lot of foot traffic and bringing the visitor far enough out into the Gulf of Mexico to see... More
