I love going to Crystal Crystal Beach but yesterday I walked with friends on the Pennant Point Trail that goes beyond the beaches. It passes the "nude beach" so don't be alarmed if you notice more than the sand and waves!! Carry on and you'll discover beautiful vistas are large rocks similar to those found at Peggy's Cove. We didn't... More

Fabulous beach and popular with the locals. Water was bracing as always but I think I was just being a wimp. There is a composting toilet for emergencies but the lady who left it looked like she was about to faint

Took a day and lunch to go with the top down and get some sun. Nice easy drive from Dartmouth. Tons of parking. No change rooms. Just 2 Johnny on the spots. 2 sand beaches close Water was cold but the sun was great. 3rd beach was a bit of a walk. Checked it out but mostly just guys. Great... More

crystal crescent beach is actually 3 smaller beaches. The first 2 are close together and are where the parking is. The third you have to walk to - well past the second beach on the boardwalk and has been taken over by the clothing optional folks. Beach number 2 often has better parking and you can always find a great... More

This beach is absolutely beautiful - especially considering it is in Canada. There is ample parking, easy to get to, and blue waters with a sandy beach and rocky treed area off to the side. Definitely worth going to. There are outhouses for facilities as well.

Our point of reference of what a beautiful beach looks like is Maui. And this was just like being on Napili Beach as far as the clarity of the water, the white sand, the families having fun swimming and laughing. Until you get into the water.... Freezing cold!!! Still swimable and enjoyable, but very cold!! Keep in mind, I'm comparing... More

The boardwalk is amazing and the views are breathtaking! The white sandy beaches feels incredibly soft to walk and run on and the kids love playing in the waves... Water is sub zero but that doesn't stop you from enjoying the excitement and fun of trying to outrun the waves as they roll in!
