I loved the railroad sounds and the opportunity to walk into several of the railroad cars. The hobby railroad area was fascinating - if it wasn't so hot in there, I would have stayed for hours looking at all the tiny scenes.

My wife and I found it by accident while camping in Blackwater River State Park in 08. We joined the East Coast Garden Railway Club shortly after our first visit. Besides the Milton Depot Museum there is a building with a tremendous HO gauge layout that is open to the public on Fri. and Sat. each week. Across the road... More

A very enjoyable "walk down memory lane" about trains in the Florida Panhandle, in the Florida swamp. There is a special section of train track beside the train station that "click-clacks" whenever the wheels of a train rolls over it. A true piece of nostalgia of a by-gone era. My son especially enjoyed the different model trains on display being... More

Well worth the time to stop in and check this place out. Though a small collection; it is very informative in it's nature. There are several buildings to wander through and would be fun for any age.

The old depot has numerous artifacts used with Rail Roads. There are old train cars and several buildings to look in. But the very best part is the model train set up in a garden at the back of the lot. It is great. There are more beautiful layouts, more perfect buildings but this one is fun. Godzilla stands atop... Have visited on two different occasions. It's a small collection of local railroad memorabilia in an old railway station. It doesn't take long to see it. It is an excellent location for nostalgic photo shoots, especially with the vintage railroad cars.

Our grandson was train crazy for 3 years, so we took him there nearly every Friday. He loved it all: the miniature trains, the depot, the caboose & dining car to walk through, the wonderful outdoor display and ride-upon train. The men were always so nice to him. We highly recommend a visit here.

This is a very nice little museum with lots of good info and examples of the railroad life back in the days when it was a lot more prevalent.

My husband and I took our daughter to the West Florida Railroad Museum for a fun, family outing. What happened at the museum while my family was there has made certain that my family will not be visiting the museum anytime soon. My husband noticed that other patrons had been given a paper with information about the railroad museum, our... More

Refurbished for real small town wood train station. Gift shop, freight office, passenger car and diner car, 2 cabooses and a variety of history posters and historic odds and ends. Big outdoor G gauge display where the area G scale club members run their trains. An indoor HO display where HO club members run their trains. Heard rumors that there... More
