The Surfside beach shore has dissapeared. The little stripof sand left is covered with decaying algae full of flies. The city refuses to acknowledge residents and visitors complaints to fix the problem. The decayin brown algae mountain keeps growing by theday and nobody seems to...More

Much different from other parts of Miami Beach south of here. There are dual walking / bike paths amongst the dune line. When I was here there was a lot of seaweed on the beach so not a large area to sit or set up...More

This is an iconic beach, free in most places, buzzing with life, clean white sands and gorgeous sea. Be sure to have sun cream!

This is a great beach for swimming, surfing, and strolling on. There is a walkway running beside it. Great place to spend an evening with some food and drink and watch the sun go down.

This beach is clean, not busy and easy to walk to. luckily we stayed nearby and a 15 minute walk for Bal Harbor got us here as much as possible!

The Surfside Beach is a beautiful white sandy beach that seems less crowded than some of the others. Its within walking distance of the restaurants, bars and has a lifeguard

I was here during Spring Break and the beach remained pretty quiet and uncrowded. It's a pretty short beach meaning once you hit the sand the water is breaking only a few feet away. But since things were quiet it wasn't a big deal.
