we had a great time walking around the park and walking out on the pier. Saw a manatee swim by and a model being photographed next to pier on the jetty.

South Pointe Park is an excellent spot to see freight and passenger ships passing very close by. It also offers fabulous views of the beach. In addition you can see fish, and some people also go fishing in the area.

Nice park nice view and good place to watch sunset. People moslty visit there for yoga and sports. For me there is the Central Park of Miami.

We had a morning walk to South Point from our hotel(Metropolitan by Como) on 24th street. There are seats to recover on after the walk on a hot day and the views are great.

Although this beach is a little further south, the clear(er) waters and clean beach make it worth it! It wasn't as crowded as south beach.

Yes, Miami beach is free. Fine for families. Safe. Rarely, as there are a number of international visitors, there may be a bit of discrete toplessness, but not too "in your face." It's a lovely, wide beach. Key Biscayne... More
