If you want to take maternity or engagement pics, this is the place. So much has changed over the laps of these past five years when we took our engagement pictures, but they beauty remains the same. The " new" transformed long trail is perfect for riding bikes also or just to take a long walk along the sea.

Lovely location. Great views of the sea, boats, and the beach. Nice well kept park. Smith and Wollensky also is a great place to eat outside in the park.

Very nice walkway to the pier with easy beach access. Great views of cargo ships & boats, plenty of room on the beach, family friendly, wash off and bathroom area, a concession stand with smoothies, a lifeguard station nearby this nice place to play in the waves.

Breathtaking views. A tropical paradise. Swim or just relax. This place takes all the worries away and it's close to many bars and restaurants. Pet friendly too

On my bike ride, I ventured down to South Pointe Park. It is really beautiful where you can watch the boats enter and exit the intercoastal. It is relaxing and peaceful even though there are many people wandering about enjoying the scenery.

Lifeguards, a small water park for kids, showers, modern restrooms, fish and a rock wall to search for crabs ... We love this beach. If taking a cab or UBER have them take you all the way to Smith and Wolensky restaurant or you will walk a long way to the beach. LOVE this beach with kids.

We had visited Miami fourteen years ago and our memories weren't wonderful. This time we stayed in Miami and had a few days to get to know the city. One of the best time we had was walking through South Pointe Park. The weather was fantastic and people watching was very entertaining. We thoroughly adored the variety of attractions, scenery... This area is very quiet in the week up until about 4.00pm. It's very clean and tidy. At weekends it's rammed with families but still not rowdy. Smith and Wollenskys restaurant is along the footpath but is quite expensive, Steaks around $40-50. You can sit and watch the cruise liners go out on Friday evening and watch the container ships...
