About
Open to the public, free of charge the Wynwood Walls was established in 2009 by the legendary placemaker and visionary Tony Goldman as an outdoor museum of international street art. Since the first year's program - featuring Kenny Scharf, Futura, Os Gemeos, Swoon, Shepard Fairey, and other renowned innovators in street art, Wynwood Walls has become a phenomenon, spurring the creation of murals throughout the Wynwood district. It is now one of the best venues in the world to see the work of leading street artists. In 2010, the adjacent Wynwood Doors, with 176 feet of roll-up storefront gates was added and most recently the Wynwood Walls Garden, an open green space featuring five murals was included in the space. Each year, a selection of international artists - that range from old school graffiti artists to newer innovators- have created artwork for the Wynwood Walls. In 2012, Wynwood Walls celebrated Art Basel with a series of events dedicated to the vision of Tony Goldman who passed that September. Since that time, the project has been curated by Tony's daughter, Goldman Properties CEO Jessica Goldman Srebnick. Miami's now world renowned open air "museum of the streets" continues to attract visitors from around the world and currently encompasses more than 40 dazzling, cutting-edge murals created by respected street artists from Asia, Europe, Latin America and the United States.

Colorful neighborhood

We had just visited the Beyond Van Gogh art exhibition, and planed to visit the Wynwood graffiti museum, however we ran out of time. We did not purchase the timed tickets for the museum luckily, but frequent checks online showed plenty of tickets available for each time-slot, even at the last minute. We could see that street parking could be an issue, around noon all the streets were pretty full. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of colorful art on the many buildings in Wynwood just by driving around, the talent displayed was amazing.

I’ve always appreciated some well placed graffiti, so this park and surrounding area was amazing. Go as early as possible to insure parking and smaller crowds.

The art at Winwood Walls was amazing. We really enjoyed the little açaí bowl restaurant nearby for a refreshing lunch. I think it was called D’lites.

Better murals around the area for free. Gift shop could be better stocked. Restaurant not open. Special exhibits limited.

Disappointing turn of events
Jun 2021 • Couples
I have been to this area numerous times. I live in South Florida and enjoy the growing art community. Unfortunately what was first established as a gift to the community and a boom to local businesses has itself become a business. I was disappointed that they now charge to see the Wynwood Walls. I think it is important to make art approachable to all. And the graffiti phenomenon has made it an attraction for all ages. Rather than make it free for all, it now costs money to see it. I don’t belong Eve that is what the founder had in mind.

HO-SOME-ART !!!!! Street Art
May 2021
If you like Art (or not) in this place are so many ways of expressions that you have to spend some time wandering around, cafes, museums, shops, restaurants, etc.
The fee for a Wynwood Walls museum is 10$, but you don't need to go inside because all the streets have so much art.
I really have to say that I have hear so much about this place that I was expecting much more, but I think that is because is still a project in process... many lots of land for sale and rent, empty spaces... but you can still have fun and a good time here.
I have a 5 minutes video walking around that you can enjoy in my other channels. Instagram, Facebook, TicToc, Youtube
