Wynwood is a recently developed former industrial warehouse district just off of Miami's glittering downtown. It is home to numerous shops and galleries and exceptionally well done exterior graffiti on virtually every building surface. Definitely worth at least a half a day of exploring.

Met Peter Tunney in his gallery last week - that was pretty cool. A hugh fan of seeing what murals stay and go with Art Basel every year. Whenever I have out of town guests, I make it a point to take them to Wynwood. Coffee (Dr. Smoods or Panther), food (Wynwood Kitchen, Wynwood Diner, Alter, the Butcher Shop), and... More

The art work is delightful. Plenty of gallery shopping. Restaurants galore. The restaurants have become part of the art.

Spent the late afternoon strolling around this funky up and coming artsy area. It was a great way to see local art. Stop for a bite to eat and drink

Phenomenal street art in this neighborhood (Wynwood, Miami FL). Start with brunch at Miam and then off into the neighborhood. Don't forget your camera. Outstanding street art!

I simply can't describe Wynwood, just that. It's like living art, art in the making, art visionaries, Pioneers, ART, ART, young, alive, wonderful, carefree, hot, warm, cool, I just simply love love this place, everyday or everytime it's a new experience just that. Bring comfortable shoes, a very good camera or smartphone with plenty of space (you'll regretted, trust me)... More

Great neighborhood to enjoy some unique style of art, very creative and detailed. Some very good restaurants and bars with quality food. However, you need to know where to walk around and at what time, because some areas seem to be questionable in terms of security.
