This is an area with lots of incredible murals. There are also a lot of homeless people and some rough looking areas. It seems like it would be a big area to walk and a little sketchy in places particularly at night. We drove around for 20 minutes or so and enjoyed it. Change takes time but there is still a lot to do here.... too many empty lots and stores so that walking at night is a bit worrisome here. Many streets, 2nd in particular, are very crowded and busy. Others have one or two businesses... The art abounds but the trash detracts from it. I can only hope things can improve rapidly so it becomes an even more desirable, safe destination. Pandemic wise; no one gives a hoot, almost all are maskless even in businesses with posted signs.... illiteracy or stupidity? Lucky for me I was there on two extremely windy days, only got curbside food and left after our Compassionate Visit was over. …

Outdoor murals and a few indoor art display rooms, great place to grab a non-basic, basic insta! I visit every time I'm in Miami, not a pleasant place in the rain, but they're still open, just bring an umbrella!

Fantastic art that is not only in this outdoor gallery but venture around and you’ll see many graffiti artist works that will blow you away! Gritty, urban, some areas are not so safe so use your street smarts. Bring your camera! It’s a great experience!
