We stayed in Brickell during our 4 day trip to Miami. The Metromover is a free transportation system with three loops. We took the Brickell loop (station near our hotel) to Bayside Marketplace and back twice. Loop stops were clearly announced and the maps were easily to understand. We always felt safe, day or might, because of the patrolling police presence on the trains or at different stations. I’m sure we could have utilized the Metromover more than we did, but we mainly relied on Uber/Lyft. Next time, we will explore it a little more. Again, it’s free and runs frequently. What more can you ask for?…

Does not run on time. Very dirty and stations are filthy. We saw some guys fighting at 1 PM by Perez Museum.

This automated monorail is a quick, easy way to see the city and get around. Maps are available at the stations, as well as in the cars. Raised platforms have a single width escalator, but only option going down is stairs

I like taking the metro mover to go around Brickell and Bayside. Last time my little boy and I took the metro mover was amazing! I guy got into the metro mover and stared taking to my son. It was a fun conversation that everyone was enjoying. The guy decided to sit down on the floor and the laughing continues with the conversation then suddenly on the next stop a security guy jump into the metro mover and asked the guy to stand up. The guy did so but he started to complain and in less than 1 minute the conversation between those two got into a big argument. My son turned around and asked me...What is going on Mom? They are actors I reply! This is a show for all the persons in this metro mover. Everybody was paying attention to the discussion those two were having. I decided to exit in the next stop and wait for the next metro mover. My son was excited and told me let’s see if we get another show in the next metro mover. 😅…
