Great park for beaching, sunning, and beautiful water! There is an entry fee. You can sit by the water in the swimming area and watch the boats go by. There are bridges to walk over. Beautiful area and state park.

Definitely a destination for locals and visitors. I served as a volunteer staff member for 15- years and loved every second of it. As a recreation site it is top notch.

The beach is nearby as well, but this park is really nice. Families with young children may prefer this to the beach since the waves are minimal at most. Pretty area and we enjoyed it.
