Please be aware that this centre was closed when we visited, presumably because of Irma damage but there was no explanation notice. Fortunately we hadn’t travelled far.

This is what South Florida is supposed to be like! The boardwalk seems to have been repaired recently and is an amazing attraction in itself. All around you keep your eyes open and you'll be able to see hocks, gators, and interesting fish. My daughters...More

Enjoyed the boardwalk today, and at the middle where the tower is a croc was just going in the water. It was a mommy croc with little babies near. You could hear their calls. Recommend to see natural habitat.

The boardwalk is in a state of disrepair, though the worst areas were marked with caution tape (and the new boards/posts were laying near the main building). There are small plaques every dozen yards or so, explaining the local flora and fauna. There are three...More

Unfortunately, we didn't seen any baby alligators or birds. The boardwalk is in desperate need of maintenance with weak boards and nails sticking up. In addition, the back of the building needs attention. It's very run down.
