This exhibit displays raptors/birds who were rescued and nursed back to health. You can see the birds closer than in a zoo, and view a video on how they diagnose, treat and release them into the wild. Great for school children and people of all ages. Parking is easy and the location is wheel chair accessible.

Very interesting to see birds of prey that couldn't be released back into the wild have such loving and sincere care. As a birder, I always had confusion about telling Cooper's hawks from red shouldered hawks. No longer! After seeing and studying the birds in such close proximity, I am now very confident I could tell a single bird in... More

We very much enjoyed our visit to this rehabilitation center. It is a self-guided tour but there were people there to ask questions and they provide you with a detailed guide to the birds that are permanent residents at the center. We also enjoyed the video about what they do there at the center and what the vet technician does.... More

Spent a couple hours at the Audubon Center walking the lovely grounds, reading about the birds and learning a lot. Worthwhile visit for nature or bird lovers. Easy to locate.

Very interesting place, they have many birds that have injuries and they are nursing them back to new. Then they release them back into captivity. They brought an eagle that was injured over to show us. The Audubon center is not very large and you can visit and see it all in a hour or two

I visited this place for a quick stop before a get together later in the day. It was a very clean and well run facility, I was able to learn a number of things about the various species of birds that they rescued and currently lived at the complex and the old, historic house that is also a viewing area... My wife and I truly enjoyed our time at the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey. We went in late morning on a Saturday. We were there for about 2 hours. There were several bald eagles, as well as many other types of birds. The facility was clean, organized, and had wonderful staff to educate visitors. The cost was $8... More

This is a very special place where birds who have been injured or are sick are nursed back to health so they can be put back in the wild, or if not have a permanent home here at the rapture center. They only take birds of prey. It was very educational, and they take the birds out to show you.... More

While it may be small, it is the cleanest place I have ever seen. Including the video, we spent about an hour there.
