We have been there several times, and love it every single time! Don't like the traffic coming and going, and even the trolley takes forever during season, but well worth the wait!

Beautiful beach area on the gulf side, very clean, with chair and umbrella rentals available. Popular area with lots of activity going on: swimming, sun bathing, para- sailing, boating, walking.

We visited here while staying in Longboat. The beach is very busy and crowded but well appointed. Good parking and facilities. There was a craft fair there (Weds) as well.
