We stopped in here on our way back into Florida. We enjoyed picking blueberries and blackberries. The blue berries were $10 for a 1gal bucket. There were plenty of berries on the bushes for picking. We all enjoyed filling a bucket, my children 11,9 and 7 all had a blast! We also picked some Blackberries as well. They were $4 per pound. Great place and great people!! Was a fun place to stop! It is a ways off the main road, so just keep going!! The drive out is part of the fun!!

Our usual location to blueberry pick was closed so we tried Rooney's. We had seen this place advertised before and thought it looked inviting. We were warmly greeted, given buckets to fill and directed to the best rows to pick. The blueberry bushes were full of ripe easy to pick berries. My husband and I filled 3 gallon buckets in one and a half hours. The field is well tended and mowed tween rows. Rain was on its way so we did not investigate the rest of the farm. No credit or debit cards are accepted. Each gallon bucket costs $10 and holds about 5 pounds of berries. Go early in the morning and beat the heat of the day.

Visited this farm while travelling from Orlando to Atlanta, took a detour but it was worth visiting. farm was small but beautiful. We went there for blue berry picking. They got black berry picking as well but we went in the afternoon, so black berry picking was over. Scott and Billie are very nice and friendly.
