I have been debating for a while on whether to write this, but I think it is something you need to know. I recently was asked to help out a vendor friend of my at the Sun N Fun air show in Lakeland. I was told by my friend that my parking pass and my entry pass would be at... More

Interesting, but small airplane museum. Not a lot to see and do. My 3 grandsons, ages 9, 7 and 3 liked looking at the airplanes. No interactive exhibits.

We went for the expo. LOTS to see. Wow got to see the French Flying Team and they were Excellent. Appreciated that you could get up close and see any and all the airplanes. Also lots of walking or you could hop the tram. ONLY complaint, for the price, at least $32 per adult, it was very hot and water... More

There wasn't a whole lot to do there with kids. If you were really into plans and wanted to real the signs and explore more than a busy young child it would be great. The displays are very well put together and taken care of. Staff was incredibly friendly. The map they hand out is sort of confusing, several people... More

We last visited about 10 years ago and returned recently to find the museum had been superficially rearranged. However the exhibits and signage were very dated and in some cases hard to read because of awkward placement and dense text in small font sizes. They have lots of interesting artifacts that need a professional touch to help engage the visitor.

Although the planes were stationary they hung above our heads. Wonderful to see all the different era planes, along with a Hall of Fame area with multiple photos of great aviators both men and women! My company loved the experience!

The night before we went to this museum we had watched the movie Hidden Figures which told the story of three African American women and their roles in the early space program here in Florida. Some of the details of the development of space travel was included in this museum which was a nice follow-up to the movie. However, there... More

This museum traces the history of flight and how it relates to Florida. It's an informative 2 hour journey. The building has some interesting exhibits on how airplanes, air travel, and airports work. A must for history buffs and young kids. This center has a number of home built and one of a kind aircraft ( not a lot of... More
