We saw Bye, Bye Birdie and it was very pleasant. It ain't Broadway but it doesn't cost an arm and a leg either. Very comfortable playhouse to enjoy an afternoon of live theater.

An old movie theater dating back to the 30's that has been converted into a playhouse. Local productions with average talent. Since it is a small venue, all the seats are good.

Lake Worth was incorporated in 1910, and the playhouse is from the 1920's. It is old and charming, but the bathrooms are also old and a little fragile. Toilets are tricky. They continue to have a great variety of shows, and a great experience overall.

I have had season tickets to the Playhouse for years. Some of the actors are unpaid and all the shows have been excellent. Recently saw Evita - awesome. There are many one night shows as well. They have a children's conservatory. Great entertainment.

Having visited community theatres all across the USA, I have to say that the Lake Worth Playhouse is among the top twenty-five. When you attend a production there, you must remember that these are amateurs, not professionals. And yet, they are able to mount productions...More

We found this little theater while browsing in downtown Lake Worth. We obtained a schedule of events and returned for several of them. The first, a play entitled -----, was our first experience inside the theater. Built in the 1930's I believe, it has a...More

I was very impressed by the professional quality of the Playhouses production of Evita! The set, costumes, dancing and singing were all well done.
