This was the only place that wasn't too rocky to collect shells. It was very tranquil just walking the beach.

We visited in November, and while not all services were available post Irma (for example kayak rentals) we had a wonderful time. Lovely day spent in the water swimming and beach combing. We found some nice shells and enjoyed seeing all of the hermit crabs...More

Curry Hammock is the only beach near Marathon that survived the hurricane well. A couple of the shelters are damaged but many are fine, and the beach itself is in good shape. Wasn't as as good a beach as either Sombrero or Bahia Honda, but...More

We tried several other beaches between Islamorada & Long Pine, and this park is in the best shape. The playground equipment was not available but our 3-year old granddaughter still enjoyed the beach — the water, building sand castles, etc. We enjoyed this beach twice...More

Taking into account that our visit was only a month after Irma....the beach is under significant construction with some of the pavilions roped off. The campground is shut down due to damage. But we went for 2 reasons, 1) support the keys economy 2) go...More

Through the lake and tributaries and under the mangrove curry, this is a paradise half day excursion. Everyone should do this!

Beaches are limited in the Keys, but if you catch the tide correctly, you can get a little beach time here!

Small park. Nice enough staff. Not a good swimming or snorkeling beach. Probably best to kayak it. You don't have to worry about crowds here like Bahia Honda.

The park is very nicely kept and has a beautiful picnic area with a playground, small beach area (although not great for swimming because of the grass) and one short trail to walk. The campground side has a beach with a fire ring and picnic...More
