If you visit Key West then you must visit and take the pic. The problem is everyone else visiting wants to do the same thing and you have long lines unless you go early. The lines move quickly and people are for the most part respectful as far as taking quick pics to give others the opportunity. Also go and... More

Good place to grab a photo and look out over the ocean. Every time we go there is a line of people waiting for their turn. Located very close to a free beach and jetty on one side and a naval base on the other. The Butterfly Conservatory is right around the corner, too.

Took family on day trip to key west. Thought we would get a picture here. Maybe it was the day, but we couldn't even get close because of everyone there. The old house on corner was an interesting history lesson though.

Looking at this point is like visiting Plymouth Rock. Once you see it that's all there is. There were long lines for a picture here so as we drove by on the trolley tour we snapped pictures and they turned out better than when we tried to get pictures as we were walking by here another time.

This is the southernmost "public" spot in the continental United States. Technically the southernmost point is in the Truman Annex which is US Navy property. This is a nice spot to get a cool picture and a great view! Since this is a popular tourist spot, if you are looking to take a picture at the Southernmost Point Buoy be... More

It is a photo op. Allot yourself 10 minutes and you can check that off your list. That is about all I can find to tell you.

We arrived to take a couple of pictures only to find a long line of cruise ship passengers taking turns posing next to the buoy to take group pictures. This would have all been well and good, except that each group spent an excessive amount of time "posing", fixing their hair, taking a picture, checking the picture, re-taking the picture.... More

Nothing much but what you see but a cool place to see nonetheless. To say you have been at the southernmost spot in the USA and a wonderful view to match...just go!

Enjoyed the day walking around the area. If you want you can rent bicycles to get around. Next time we will know more about what we were doing.

There is usually a long line to take your picture with the famous southern most point prop. People line up down the street for photo opps. It's a must see if you make it to the keys nothing spectacular about it but it's a tourist must do!
