This wreck is massive but for experienced divers it is pretty accessible and simply has to be done. Sadly there is no means of controlling visibility or currents so you can never be guaranteed ideal conditions as was the case on our two dives. But you know what? It doesn't matter...its iconic....just do it. There are some huge Groupers and... More

Great visibility, strong currents. Used SouthPoint Diving. Very professional. The wreck was awesome to dive. Skin suit was only used as the water temps on that day was 81.

Got my Advanced Open Water Scuba Certification here. Perfect time of the year. Waters were calm and the wreck was memorable!

The Vandenberg was a great experience for clarity of water, condition of the wreck, and variety of marine life. Recommend timing it though for calm winds/seas as it can get rough when trying to get back onboard. We had a mild current which eases once you get in close to the wreck. Very big wreck, very good swin throughs. Not a lot of marine life on it yet, but the wreck itself is worth going in my opinion (if you like wrecks).. It is for advanced divers only, as most things are below 30m

The Vandenberg is excellent for skilled and upgrading divers who want to expand their skills beyond the normal 20' reef dives. Good vis. Large fish. Several dive groups will take you. I use Captain's Corner. Enjoy.

The Vandenburg Wreck was a fantastic dive. Visibility was great so we were able to see the magnitude of the ship. Lots of great marine life. Fun to be able to go inside the various openings.

Don't remember a thing so it was probably good, since I don't recall any nightmares or shivers reading the name of this attraction.
