Just a block away from the Southernmost Point monument, this pier will allow you to get a really nice view of the sunset. It's just a short concrete pier, but we found it to be an uncrowded and unobstructed view when the sun went down.

The end of this pier marks the furthest south you can go in the continental USA, without getting in or on the water. The pier itself isn’t much to look at but a good photo opportunity if you are geographically inclined and this ticks off...More

The Emma Carrero Cates Pier is the pier at the end of the Southernmost Beach. You can walk the pier and take photos. You can swim alongside and snorkel in the snorkel area. It’s a beautiful pier overlooking the crystal clear blue Key West waters.
