Was nice to take a trip out of the heat and learn more about Key West history and Ernest Hemingway. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and it was fun to pet the cats!

We loved the tour of the Hemingway home. It was so cool to see his house just as he left it and all the kitties were so cute and friendly. Kind of smelled like a litter box alittle but i guess that should be expected...More

Tour guides was lack-luster but the house and grounds are interesting. Go early to avoid crowds -- it's not worth a long wait. It was fun to go during Hemingway days!

Touring the Ernest Hemingway home was definitely on my bucket-list of places to visit. I was completely enamored the entire time I was visiting the home. We arrived an hour before closing and began exploring the house. We stumbled upon a tour that was beginning...More

We had such a great visit here, despite the blistering heat. Our tour guide (I'm not sure if he gave his name?) had a very dry sense of humor, and I thoroughly enjoyed him doling out treats to the numerous cats around the house and...More

Not much else to say. If you like Hemingway, or history, or American lit, then you should go. You learn a lot about the man and the history of the island here. Loved it.

It's a very interesting property and with the right tour guide, you learn all kinds of interesting little factoids about the property and Hemingway himself. And I love cats, but if you're allergic you might want to skip this stop.

The cats were all extremely friendly and super cute. Our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable. Even if you're not a Hemingway fan, it's absolutely worth it just for the historic information.

It might not be a bad idea, the museum is not very crowded during mid week, and picks up on the weekends, but during Hemingway Days, I would imagine the crowds are bigger. From my understanding some of the festivities are... More
