A great visit on a cloudy day. While biking stopped for a visit and was extremely surprised with the development of the gardens It was relaxing and one of the best 'free' tours. Every donated 'penny' is well worth it.

Pretty small fort by most standards. It has 'Rob the Doll' which you really have to check out for yourself, creepy, to say the least. Some old exhibits and the fort itself is a quick tour

Fort was in good shape. Currently under minor renovation to be ADA compliance. Artifacts of the Civil War. Placards to read about era. Antiques of times, carved out canoe, haunted doll and replicas. The museum went beyond civil war and time period. In addition to cannons, etc, there was an exhibition of junk art that was very interesting. Good place... More

I got in very cheaply on my military ID. The fort is preserved as a museum but not exclusively as a military site. This is where you will meet haunted doll 'Robert'. There are also art exhibits, especially junk art. I enjoyed the visit, I felt specially welcome as forces. I recommend you make a point of visiting this pre... More

If you take the Old Town Trolly Tours, the driver, as you approach the fort on the tour, will tell you about the old fort and its unworldly occupants. You can hop off and tour this old structure and meet Robert. Who is Robert you ask? Well I am not going to give that away, you will just have to... More

Super friendly staff. We were waiting for our Trolley and popped in to check it out, and it was totally worth the time. It has great historical information about key west and it covers the haunted side of key west in a really fun way. Robert the Doll is waiting for you.

I was surprised at how few people were at the museum the day we visited. The Museum was undergoing some renovations so I hope this will be an improvement for the better. They have some very interesting artifacts to include a 100 year old doll that is said to be haunted. I was surprised also to see how big Robert... More

went here on a ghost tour.... had the usual visit with "Robert" the doll...you don't want to get on his wrong side...our guide filled us in on many strange happenings which have taken place over the course of the forts' existence... don't think I would want to be here alone at night!
