Nice big park area where you can do everything. Barbecue, swim, play games, enjoy laying down on your hammock and what not. The entry is $3.50 so not bad at all if you are planning on spending the whole day there. The beach is nice,...More

If you're looking for one of the best beaches in Key West, then look no further! Wonderful, large sandy beach with plenty of room. Forget your lawn chair or umbrella? No worries, you can rent both for a very minimal fee here. Concession stand onsite...More

My wife and I went to Fort Zachary simply for the touristy reason of taking a photo of the Key West distance signs. When we arrived we stumbled upon two surprises. First of all this park offers some of the prettiest beaches in Key West....More

Nice, large (by Key West Standards) beach. Umbrellas and chairs are available and a must - sun is hot! Awesome concession stand with many options including cold beer. Plenty of parking as well. Didn't have a chance to visit the old fort - maybe next...More

Stopped at the Fort after a day at the beach, there was only one person on duty and he referred us to another named Dead-Eye. The multitude of masonry at the fort is pretty awesome.

We enjoyed our visit to this beach. Once you got past the rocky shoreline, the sand was soft. The water was very clear and beautiful. We wished we had brought our snorkel gear as there were a lot of people snorkeling out near the larger...More

Robyn's knowledge made the experience. She did not care if she went over the alloted time or not. All questions were answered and we love that she actually cares so much about this piece of history.

A beautiful, magical setting for a sunset wedding. Cue sunset, cue sailboat, cue gentle ocean breeze.... The reception at the Fort was also fantastic. Loved the history in the walls.

The fort is quite interesting, especially the history of the excavations. It is easy to walk around but there is very little in the way of signage or explanations of the use of various rooms. A tour was available about 90 minutes after we arrived...More

Love it. This place is a bit out of the way but has lounge chair and umbrella, snorkel, noodle and floaty toys to rent. The snack shack is run by a great crew and they serve good eats.

Sorry, can't help you, but I too enjoyed those lovely trees at Fort Zachery. I'm hoping that lots of places in the Keys come through with out great harm.

Yes, plenty of parking, but be aware there is an entrance fee, although fee is good for all day.
