I'm used to sunsets in the mountains and on deserted beaches so seeing Mallory square full to the brim of people holding up there iPhones wasn't a winner for me. The atmosphere was good with local musicians and street performers but it is very busy....More

We visited the square a couple times during our week in Key West. Not much happening on the first visit as it was cloudy. Next visit had a beautiful sunset and lots of vendors and street performers. A worthwhile experience.

You need to go there at least once in your visit to see the sunset and all of the street performers.

Mallory Square was a lot of fun. Parking nearby was super expensive, over $30 but with mobility limitations, we really had no other choice. The Square is quite the gathering place near sunset with street performers, magic shows and musicians scattered throughout the area performing...More

Kinda a must-do activity to get the full Key West experience...at least once. The sunset is stunning and there are fun street shows along the wharf.

It's a gathering point to watch the sunset. There are street performers, my favorite is a Key West local who trained cats to jump through burning hoops and walk on a tight rope and arts and craft vendors.
