The Speigel Grove is an awesome experience. I'd recommend it to anyone but would also say you should have a local or experienced diver with you.

Diving the Spiegel Grove is a highlight of any dive trip. The conditions aren't always in your favor but when the visibility is great the swim throughs are incredible.

We dived with Scuba Fun which work with other centres to dive this and also Ocean Divers. Good sites for Advanced divers as goes to about 35m deep. Easy diving as was put down for divers.

One of best wrecks here in the Keys, this wreck is amazing. Due to the shear size of this artificial reef you're going to want to devote some serious bottom time to be able to experience it! Find a professional dive shop like the Florida Keys Dive Center and allow the crew there to exceed your expectations! Tell them Scuba... More

I went out with Ocean Divers for a double-dip on the Spiegel Grove the first week of January, but weather conditions caused us to cut the trip short after a single dive. No one seemed disappointed, however, as it was a great dive, and we were all happy to get safely back as the main storm front closed in. This... More

This is one of my most favorite places to dive. We go with Rainbow Reef Dive company and always look forward to diving the Spiegel Beagle.

Dove with Rainbow Reef Divers. They were very helpful and friendly. Despite a clear blue sky, waves were five feet high so about a quarter of the divers were seasick. I even took Bonine medicine. Wreck was very good, about 85 feet down. Dive guide was good.

Dove this with my two older kids, who've never dived a wreck before, and this set a pretty high bar. So much to see and probably the safest overhead environment I've dived. Lots of growth and fish (including King Barracuda hidden everywhere). Dove with Rainbow Reef Divers, and the trip was fantastic.

This wreck is my favorite in the Keys. It is rare to find such a large penetrable wreck in such good condition. It would take you a week of diving to explore every nook and cranny. Do yourself a favor and pay the $5 to support the wreck, and go dive it!
