The trails are very nice, as well as both beaches. Its kept very clean. My husband rented a paddle board and had a great time on it. It was not crowded at all in early February.

Great option when the weather is too cold/windy for snorkeling or if you'd rather relax and watch than swim. Glass bottom boats have come a long way in their design since our last experience 25 years ago. This one has two sets of large windows...More

Great park with lots to do. You can rent kayaks or paddle boards. There is a beach to swim at. They have a playground and so much more to do.

I live in Key Largo and when family and friends visit, we always go to John Pennekamp either by car or boat. Nice place to spend the day, kayaking, glass bottom boat, trail walking, showers and changing room. Ice cream, sandwiches, drinks available in concession.

Two short hikes on Monday. One was the Grove (1/2 mile) to a historic orange grove, and the second was 1/3 mile. The second was well marked with local tree species which was quite interesting. Nice sand beach

Arrived early. Drove to end of park, over bridge and relaxed on the beach there until 1230. We headed to glass bottom boat for a great, entertaining trip to the reefs. Very educational. Next time we are going to rent kayaks.

It's boring. Way over crowded with Walmart type clientele. They have no manners and are super loud. We could not believe we paid to enter this place.

Yes, there are two small beaches. I do not know whether they rent beach chairs or umbrellas - they weren't in February.

I didn’t see the reef; but there’s no damage to the park at all.
