A good dive spot

A good dive spot. It's a little different than the rest of the dives in Marathon. Not too difficult.

Great place for beginners or those that just want to see some beautiful fish without a long boat ride. Our 16 year old has fished with us all her life. She has seen some very large species pulled form the waters of the ocean. So,...More

We rented a pontoon boat and decided to go out to Coffins Patch. There were several charter snorkeling boats there so it was easy to find. We hocked up with a anchor buoy and swam to the metal structure that is out there. The water...More

My kids did their first open water scuba dive here. The dive is max 20ft with some reasonable coral and fish life to see. We were on a boat with snorkelers who also seemed to enjoy the reef. More advanced divers may need something more...More

Dove there during my PADI training. I was pretty stressed, what with trying to pass my exam, but it looked like an interesting place to visit. It's probably fun if you're not worried about goofing up and failing your test. Lots of varieties of fish...More

We rented our own boat and made the quick trip out to this reef. Nice mooring balls to tie up to so no need to anchor. It was rough, about 5 to 6 foot seas. Snorkling with the chop wasnt an issue, but the visibility...More

This was a lovely dive spot, full of life. Did not get to see turtles or sharks or even barracuda, but we did see lots of other reef fish.

Locals place to go, easy to get to from Key Colony Beach, protected area, lots of fish to see. Less busy than Sombrero Light but not as good.

I typically rent a boat from All Aboard Rentals in Marathon. It's a quick trip and good for snorkelers too!
