I live next door to this beautiful Florida state park. Beautiful beaches, picnic areas, fishing and biking. I love to stroll or bike in the many trails. Amazing views from the lighthouse.

Nice relaxing park. Great views. The lighthouse was closed on a Wednesday. A little disappointed after I paid $8.00 to enter park.
We bicycled down from the middle of town and saved a few bucks on the park entrance fee. The park doesn't open until 8 in the morning. There were lots of birds and iguana, and of course the tropical plants found in the area. No...More
Cape Florida is one of the loveliest beaches in South Florida. Lighthouses are always picturesque, and this one is no exception. If you bring a mask and snorkel, or even just goggles, you can see tropical fish swim around the rocks at the structure's base....More

Bill Baggs State park is a great option for people who like a more relaxed and secluded beach experience in Miami. The Food options are limited and facilities are adequate. The nature trail and bike trail are enjoyable.

There's a restaurant and several BBQ spots. If you bring food and eat in the park, be aware of the racoons and squirrels. Nice beach and lighthouse near by.
