Great place to go shelling and collect sand dollars. It did not seems like a swimming beach. Nice parking and facilities.

This is the place to go if you want to escape the busier beaches on the island......you can actually read a book or take a snooze without having to hear someone being towed out for getting stuck (you really do need a 4 wheel drive...More

My cousin had her wedding here, (free) I would recommend parking close by the board walk, there are several down the stretch.... Sand Dune 106 is a great spot... Right off of Julia Street, just behind the American Beach Community Center...

There is no admission. You can however must purchase a pass to park on the beach. Otherwise parking is free. There is a park named Burney park we have always taken covered grills here as the wind is at time... More
