This place is a treasure. The BWS folks do such important rescue/rehab work, and created an uncommonly beautiful visitor experience. Kids will LOVE this place, and adults will be surprised by how much they learn. I love walking the boardwalks around the cypress swamp & getting up close and personal with native Florida wildlife.

Went for the first time to toddler story time! It was great and free! Kids get to interact with two animals after the story is read. Toddlers are kinda all over the place but it worked! It was a gated area so they couldn't get too far! After the story time we went around the park and it was wonderful!... More

We love this place. There are a lot of animals to see and it's by donation. There is no pressure on how much to donate, the bins are located all over the park. There are a lot of shaded areas, so on really hot days, it's not so bad. When we have visitors from out of town, we bring them... More

My recommendation is to visit! I've visited with children, grandparents, and everything in between. This rustic sanctuary has all kinds of animals ranging from cougars to pelicans, to alligators. The admission is donation based, to support their work.

This small zoological park is a sort of sanctuary where native Floridian animals are sheltered, cared for, and displayed. Everything from wild turkeys to Florida Panthers to bobcats, foxes, deer, alligators, turtles, tortoises, armadillos and on and on is to be found displayed in a very pleasant, park tucked away in a quiet corner of Jupiter. Donations are requested, but... More

Gave this an average for those that seek zoos and sanctuary's but well worth the visit. Just not up to the top national locations.

Our grandkids love our regular visits here. They have learned a lot about our native animals and birds. The displays are clean and professional. The animals appear healthy and well cared for. The facility is just the right size, not overwhelming to see it all. Recommend a visit, and be sure to leave a donation to support their work.

Not far from the beaches in Jupiter Florida, this Sanctuary makes an informative and enjoyable visit. Young volunteers made presentations to visitors and really enables us to get up close and personal with some interesting creatures.

I had a fantastic time here viewing all the animals. There are a large variety of them and it's good to know that the animals are not exploited. Its a rescue facility. They help them and release them if possible. Awesome educational opportunity for children and adults alike.

Took my parents and we had a great time. All they ask for is a donation of your choice...I gave 10 dollars. They really do great things for the animals there. All rescues and they take any injured animals and rehabilitate them.
