We had no idea there would be so much to see at this wonderful state park. We were shocked to find the parking lot full upon our arrival and therefore were concerned about the crowds. It was incredible to find that there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the animals, plenty of benches and bleachers to sit and... More

On my first trip to Florida....unbelievable to see manatees and alligators and many local birds and animals. The docent programs were educational and well done. I would definitely recommend this for all ages. Seemed very accommodating. Enjoyed the short boat ride out to the park...made it a little more special.

We spent the day there, it was great! 13 dollars for an adult ticket. We took a tram ride to the park and a boat ride back, all included! We saw MANY of Floridas special animals and more including my wife's favorite, flamingos. There were also panthers, eagles, alligators and so much more! Food and drinks available. Also large ice... We spent the whole day in the park, taking pictures and visiting each exhibit 2-3 times (or more). The animals are well cared for and presented. The staff and volunteers are excellent. We did not attend any of the interpretive programs, but as we traveled the park the ones we listened to in passing were informative and easy to understand.... More

Went here during a weekend excursion with my family. They have a boat or tram to take you to the wildlife area. They even have kennels if you are traveling with a dog. Lu, the resident hippo, is a must see; along with native Florida animals. There is even an underwater viewing station where several species of fish and manatees... More

If you want to save a little money off the admission fee, there is a 20% off coupon that must be printed out in advance. They will not accept the coupon on a cell phone. This was impossible for us as we were traveling and did not have access to a printer but there are no acceptations so we did... More

They have manatees both residents and wild ones came up too, theres a 6,000 lb hippo! Its freaking HUGE and fun to watch. Many birds, deer, and other animals.... More

A great place to see wild Florida animals and birds. Very well laid out - take the boat one way and the tram the other if you can.

I am so glad we visited this park. There is a tram or a ferry to take you into the park after looking through the museum, cafe and gift store. We took the 20 minute ferry ride on pepper creek to the park. At the park we visited the underwater viewing area located in the spring. There were schools of... More
