Went for a morning stroll each day before going to meetings. The white sands and the sunrise on the ocean is worth seeing. it was cooler so not a lot of people so quiet and peaceful. Beach Very clean walked barefoot.

Beautiful island and charming beach towns and the water is like being in the Caribbean. There were ton of restaurants and there seemed to be a lot of public access to the beaches.

Spent 4 days in the area relaxing and exploring the area. We visited several condo/resorts for future stays. There is a wide range of accommodations available. Choose wisely.

With the rise of Destin and San Destin, Okaloosa Island has become--at least in our opinion--the beach of choice. It is far less crowded and touristy. Besides, we can always travel the few miles down to Destin or San Destin if we should desire a...More

We ate here on our recent trip and they have very good pizza. The best place to eat is on the back patio they are right on the bay and Marina in Okaloosa island! They put a lot of toppings on their pizzas!

I think the Henderson inn in Destin is outstanding. They have a gorgeous big pool and spa as well. You might try AIRBNB and VRBO (vacation rental by owner). Have a happy wedding, and God bless you! You'll love Destin!

I think it’s an off and on thing that isn’t predictable. We have been there and had no problems and then been there and had a few bad days. Overall you can’t beat the white sand and green ocean no matter what!!
