The Boardwalk is a nice place, maybe too nice. It has lots of pricey shops that sell pricey goods to tourists. If you want to splurge, this is a good place to go. If you're looking to save money, there are better places for that.

We had a wonderful time dining and drinking at the Boardwalk. They have really done a wonderful job over the last 19 years since I was here!

We walked to the Boardwalk from our hotel (Best Western) and had a drink at AJ's. There are plenty of food options for even the pickiest of eaters at the Boardwalk.

While a tourist trap, this was a nice boardwalk with a few shops and a number of restaurants/bars. Well kept too with nice beach. Oddly, the most fun I had was the nearby pier. They charge $2 to walk the pier (which I think is...More

Loved the pier. Had a way better time that I would have imagined. Watched the fishermen reeling in some huge fish, until they got away. :) Saw dolphins, sea turtles, etc. Was a great time and can't wait to go back when we return to...More

A few bars and some small shops and restaurants. Our favorite nightlife spot was here but is now closed. Well kept with great views.

There was a nice play area for children. Picnic areas were also available. Volleyball nets were free. It was a very nice area and not too crowded.

Seaweed comes and goes. We have visited at various times of the year and sometimes it's thick and other times the tide has not brought it in. I do have to say this. My daughter has a rare skin disorder that we have been... More

Perdido Key is about 2 hours west of Okaloosa Island. Perdido Key is even west of Pensacola, only a mile or so from the Alabama line, just across the water from Orange Beach, AL.

A. J.'s will cook you catch, but it is not on the Boardwalk at Okaloosa. It is in Destin Harbor at Harborwalk. That's about 5 miles east of Okaloosa.
