we went here on a very windy day, so we only lkasted five minutes as we were sand blasted by the sand and heavy winds.. a huge beach though, and worthy of a visit but not on a windy day!

Beach is clean, not overly populated when I was there. Been there several times throughout the years & more of an older crowd seems to go there. Navy Seal museum next door.

No, but 1 mile south is an open beach where you can. (but no lifeguards or rest rooms)
