Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful place to relax and take a nice stroll. Views are fantastic. Take a camera you will need it. We spent a relaxing afternoon there.

This is a gorgeous beach. There are many shell seekers. I was one. A kind lady showed me how to find sand dollars and she made my day.

Clean beach and good for shelling. Went on the weekend and during the week. To avoid being "crowded" by other people you need to walk down the beach and set up your space, other wise people will set up there space on top of you. Saw dolphins one day. I had a beach tent...you need some shade. Everything was good. A little disappointed their chaise rentals are picked up at 4.p.m. Tram was convenient.

Beauitful. Impressed by the shuttle to the beach, clean restrooms and handicap accessibility. Wish we would have done a kayak experience. A hidden gem not to be missed!

Nice State park beach, just South of Big Carlos Pass, right off Estero Blvd where you can drive in and have a nice parking spot, pay the $8.00 parking fee, place the currency in an light blue envelope, tear off the Rear view mirror display and drop the envelope in the green metal box. No one there to monitor the transaction, solely base on the Honor system. Bring your beach gear and hop on the trolley driven by Gene who brings you to a drop off area and a 1000 foot or so walk bridge, (sign). I wished we had a cart to bring the gear to the beach, didn't ask if it was allowed on the trolley. Plenty of room on the beach, plenty of shells, nice amount of beach goers, no waves, clean and all natural!!!

To get back, walk that bridge again that goes over a pocket of water and wait for the trolley at the drop off/pick up area. There are new hanging canvass shades that provides some relief and aluminum bench seats for waiting and to rest after walking that bridge and a nice clean, brand new, bathroom trailer, which is air conditioned!!! YES!!!
Also two brand new beach wheel chairs with the inflated tires to use on the beach. Times for pick up is every 15 minutes. There will be someone driving the trolley and will be there.
Definitely a nice beach. All new facilities due to Hurricane Ian that blew everything away on Sept 28, 2022
We will be back!!! Don't forget the sun block!!!🏖️🏖️🏖️☀️☀️☀️

Visited in Sept 2021.

Beautiful state park with a great beach. The tram from parking lot to beach makes it easy. This is a must see when in the area.

Gorgeous beach, well kept. We took the tram to the beach, had a picnic and then watched the sunset. It was a perfect day

Florida State Park with a beautiful natural beach. There is a trolley available to and from the beach which is much more preferable than the 3/4 mile hike. We were there in mid September during the week so the crowd was minimal. Most people set up right where the trolley drops them off so if you are adventurous you can walk north or south and find yourself on beautiful secluded natural beaches.
