We enjoyed the walking tour and the price/donation was reasonable to support a place like this. Checked out part of the planetarium show (too many noisy children). The planetarium hostess did a great job of being informative and trying to keep the kids entertained. She...More

Both a Nature Center and a planetarium, different educational shows throughout the day, engaging staff, cool animals, and much more! It’s rare to find an affordable place to go where you can learn about animals and space. Very happy we came here!

If you are expecting Sea World or the San Diego Zoo, I guess you will be disappointed, but these folks are working hard to offer a down to earth experience that will educate and offer a close up look at area animals. The nature center...More

We hiked the 1.8 mile loop and then watched the planetarium show on the northern lights. It was a nice way to spend a few hours. There were some nice snakes and a cute little owl inside. I’m glad we went. The trail was in...More

This isn’t a public funded establishment or a Seaworld type entertainment. Some dedicated people have saved 120 acres and kept it natural in a urban environment. The trails are marked and easy to walk if you watch your step. The volunteers are knowledgeable and give...More
