The building itself was historic & well kept up. The theatre is not oversized & we had no problem hearing the actors. It is in the downtown district of Ft Myers & a short block from the river so we walked around before the show...More

If you're in the Ft Myers area and love theater, I'd recommend catching a performance here. Quality productions, really good seating and reasonable prices make this a worthwhile activity. Even though I live two hours drive away, this was worth it. Will be seeing more...More

Went to see the above Agatha Christie's mystery and thought it wonderful. Actors were excellent as was the set design. All total quality and the reviews are right when they compare some of the productions to Broadway. Actually, having seen some things that made it...More

I love this theatre. The actors are top notch - usually from NYC. The Florida Rep is, after all, an Equity theatre. And the play selection is wonderful. Thank Bob when you go there.

We've had a seasonal subscription to the Florida Rep Theater in downtown Fort Myers for years. Being from the NYC area, I've been very particular about the theater productions I've wanted to attend outside of NY. To date we've not been disappointed with any of...More

A very nice, small theater, with convenient parking across the street, a bar with reasonably priced drinks, and just step from shops and restaurants. We saw a children's production of "Bye Bye Birdie", which was surprisingly entertaining. I was amazed at what they had accomplished...More

We recently attended the production of "I loved, I lost, I made spaghetti." It's a one woman show starring Michelle Damato. The small, intimate theater provides the viewer the feeling of being a part of the play. In fact 8 audience members actually participate in...More

yes, but have not looked at a schedule. FYI: Mr Cassiopia (director, et al)n keeps in close touch with his NYC contacts. Call the theater, or use the net and find schedules of shows and reviews. We are never disappointed.
