Guided tour is the way to go. If have chance to go at Christmas, it is well worth it. Edison was an amazing entrepreneur.

It is great how authentically everything has been preserved. Hands on exhibits great for kids and the outside plant life and trees are as interesting as the science and technology inside.

This is a very nice place to come on an afternoon and relax with your hubby. The park is very well cared for. We recommend.

The grounds surrounding the Edison-Ford Winter Home Museum is worthy of your time. Just lovely to see all the exotic trees brought here by Thomas Edison, not to mention the Caloosahatchee River flowing alongside the estate. Very peace filled with many different species of flowers...More

I was surprised about most of information of two outstanding persons used to live there. I mean Edison and Ford. I don't know they were friends and Ford even worked for Edison. Park is awesome, and we were lucky about a weather.

We have been there several times, by ourselves and taking guests and all are blown away by the beauty and history. We didn't get there this year but driving by, the Christmas decorations were awesome, a must see.

Lots of shady trees, benches and a spectacular view of the great waters. Nice that it is by the Edison and Ford Winter Estates

Sorry, don't remember if the tour guide even told us. Tip, if you go take the guided tour, worth every penny.
