Saw the David & Amy Sedaris play "The Book of Liz" here, under the Theater Conspiracy label/troupe/brand, and upon walking in, I had my expectations somewhat low: it was a small, shall we say "humble" space and I didn't know what they'd be able to pull off. But the show was great, funny, subversive, all the good things live theater... More

The Alliance offers so much to choose from -- classes for children and adults, theater, painting, fiber arts, poetry and music -- it's hard to capture everything in one review! I highly recommend attending one of their free gallery openings, plays, or poetry events! My favorite events are the special events that they have each fall! If you like the... More

Alliance for the Arts puts on all kinds of programs -- the Indian festival, Pride festival, a Saturday farmer's market with lots of local farmers and vendors. They also do plays, art camps for kids, and have a great gallery and a small but really cool gift shop. Worth a visit, there's almost always something going on!

Alliance for the Arts has interesting exhibits, but their classes and workshops are wonderful! The faculty are working artists who are enjoy sharing their knowledge while making the classes fun and encouraging.

Coming to Fort Myers, I wondered what the arts culture was like. I was over-the-moon to find the Alliance for the Arts. Their exhibits are always interesting and thought-provoking. The gift shop is equally unique, filled with artsy items you'll want to buy up everything. Their art classes, studios- all top notch. I love to see what students and professionals... More

It's a great place to join, as it offers art classes, concerts, art shows, festivals on the lawn. If you live in the Ft. Myers area, it's a good value. Summer camps for the kiddos too!
