Good trip, very good guide

We kayaked Alligator Creek and had a lovely time. Connie is very knowledgeable and I appreciated her respect for the animals we saw, making sure we did not disturb them.

We did the estuary kayak tour with Connie as our guide. She began the experience by being coldly patronizing from minute one, and devolved to outright rudeness soon thereafter. We were six adults being spoken to like little children. Even getting past that, the tour was OK at best: the estuary runs right under a bridge with heavy automobile traffic... More

We spent a three hour kayak tour with a most informative guide, Connie, giving us a comprehensive understanding of the estuary system surrounding the manatee habitat. The embellishments went beyond just the manatee's movements, and included information about the flora and fauna, aviary and reptile ecosystem. I will surely recommend Gaea Tours to anyone who visits the Ft. Myers area,... More

If you want something cool to do in Fort Myers, take a kayak tour & see the Manatee! These tours only operate in the winter months. I just took the first tour of the season & it was great! Connie was full of Manatee fun facts! She is a very knowledgeable naturlist that truly enjoys sharing what she knows about... More

Our family of four (all adults) went on the estuary tour (in kayaks). Connie was an excellent guide. She taught us many things and helped us identify many birds. We are avid birders and appreciated Connie's quick eye and her knowledge, which seemed right on with what we've learned about various bird species. We also saw a dolphin! Connie took... More

Our resort recommended GAEA Guides Kayaking. Connie offered a kayaking tour in the Caloosahatchee River estuary which perfectly met our schedule. As others described in their reviews Connie is knowledgeable and passionate about the environment, the foliage and the wildlife. She provides a running dialog with information about native species and the threats of invasive species. The 2.5 hours was... More

My 14 year-old granddaughter and I did the estuary tour. Connie knows well the plants and animals and cares a lot about them. Her complete respect of them and their natural home was refreshing and is too often lacking in nature guides. We would have been thrilled to also see some dolphins, but they weren't interested in making themselves knows... More

Easy paddle at shell creek. Great for a relaxing day! Connie was a great guide. The kayaks were comfortable and easy to maneuver. Found the 3 hour morning ride just enough.

Spent the morning in the estuary. About 2 1/2 hours on the water. We learned a great deal about flora and fauna and saw a variety of each. From bottle-nosed dolphins to the LBJs. We learned about the biogeography of the region. From start to finish our guide kept us informed of what we were seeing. We appreciated the ecotourism... More
