As a long time Floridian, I've been wanting to see the Mermaid show at the (now) W Hotel. The place was recently renovated and was very nice. The bar looks like you're peeking through portholes in a ship and watching mermaids swim by. I must say that the mermaid show was cute, but being that I was a former synchronized swimmer... More

We arrived early so we could have dinner.. (from The Naked Crab) and it was outrageous! Our Appetizer was sooooo yummy grilled Octopus- you MUST HAVE when you visit!!! OMG DELISH! Our main course: Filet and NY Strip with loaded whipped potatoes were perfection. Then the Wreck Bar Burlesque Mermaid Swim Show at 9:30p is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!! This... More

Mermaid shows behind the bar and through a window of the pool sounded stupid to me. The workers were putting up plastic on the bar windows so you had to pay to get in. Closed several nights for private parties and clean up the next day. Basically, it was unavailable.

Went on a Friday night as we were staying at the Hotel beside the bar. One of the lead mermaids came in to bar to explain what was going to happen and to provide some history. The bar is relatively small so get there early and once the show begins the place is packed.

This was a blast! The mermaid show was perfect! They were funny, animated and witty! Such a shame it is only 2 nights a week though. It adds an incredible boost of fun to your stay. Now the buffet... not so good at all. Very limited choice and the poor fellows in charge were working their tails off to make... More

The place is small, and they don't do reservations. Arriving early is the only way to do it. The show is about a half hour long. I made the later show and there weren't any kids. The drinks were good, food OK, proces comparable to everywhere else. Totally worth the time.

We were staying at the B Ocean so decided to check this out as restaurant was closed for an event and figured let's get food and watch a show. Arrived around 530 and show begins at 630 but place was full by 545. We grabbed a table in back and ordered some sliders and a couple of sodas. Burgers were... More

We totally enjoyed our entire trip at theB ocean resort especially Charlie. He was so helpful and gave us amazing recommendations for restaurants and where to go and what to do! He was always happy to help us the few days we spent there. All the employees were great actually. We are already planning on coming back!

The cozy Wreck Bar is located in the B Ocean resort and looks like nothing so much as the front end of a sunken pirate ship. The food is fine, the prices are sensible for a seafront resort, service is lovely. The real attraction, though, is the mermaid show as seen through the submerged windows behind the bar. The talented,... More
