This place is worth revisiting year after year for the majestic solitude. You can wander around trails or sit quietly at the water's edge. And soon you'll be able to enjoy refreshments (even craft beer!) at the beachfront entrance. For the modest admission price of $2 you'll see how nature in Florida used to look before greedy landowners clear-cut and... More

Right on the beach, it's a nice park like atmosphere with greenery, a lake, and lots of trees. A very nice stroll through for nature viewing. and just 2 dollars.

I decided to check out other reviews on Trip Advisor after visiting this park over the weekend, expecting others to have had the same reaction. I was surprised to find so much praise for this park. We found it totally disappointing and lacking any redeeming qualities or facilities. Here it is, middle of January and high tourist season and not... More

My husband and I visited this little gem of a park today. The cost of admittance for pedestrians was $2 per person. When you first enter the park you are greeted by the sight of an endangered tortoise (which the park is trying to save its habitat). The volunteer was very friendly and actually took us once around the park... More

Just love the entire park to either bike through, walk through or drive through. Sunsets picnics and BBQs on the intracoastal are a MUST! Great park people... just wonderful.

We took some time away from the beach to meander through this little oasis on the Intercoastal for a couple of hours before our flight. It was the perfect slice of nature that allowed us privacy, easy trails, and a bit of outdoors without the bustle of the beach. The entire loop was probably under two miles, but lingering at... There I see a very useful golf cart that goes around at intervals collecting the tired and weary. Hire a bycycle or go on a Segway safari or join in the Thursday morning Tai Chi. Just watch out for the Mosquitos.

This park offers great walking trails and a plethora of birding opportunities in the early morning. We met people running, driving, cycling, and walking. Make sure to pack a picnic and enjoy the canal views too.
