Okay if you like contemporary art, good location, no free parking. They do have a fee traditional pieces but mostly odd contemporary art. Its large over 2 levels.

I love visiting museums on a rainy day. So, it was a no-brainer to visit NSU Art Museum on what felt like the stormiest day of the year. The museum itself is a nice space. I visited one week after the Happy! Exhibit ended. So, I was happy to see that "Into the Clouds" was still on view. I enjoyed Mickalene Thomas' Portrait of Mama Bush I. The multiple pieces by the Guerrilla Girls were remarkable. I was surprised to see that quite a few galleries on the second floor were empty. For that reason, I had a pretty short visit. I really wanted to spend more time there. I'd likely return in the future for more expansive exhibit.…

Nice collection, well labeled, good gift shop, the cafe had good food, guards were helpful. The collection was more extensive than I expected.

Bright and easy to navigate musuum. Very good but rather small permanent collection. The main attraction appears to be the "special" exhibits of which there are usually several simultaneously . We were drawn by a William Glackens show. Glackens is noted for taking the ashcan school of art from realism in the inner city to impressionism at the beach. Often shown with Prendergast , Sloan and other American realists of the period. Very enjoyable and diverse collection in this show.…
