Great vibe! A lot of shops, even more restaurants (all kinds)! Great people watching! Safe with a lot of police presence in the background. Careful in the morning, a few homeless come out to pan-handle, but police presence keeps it at bay. There is a free service for transportation on the app called “Circuit”! They’ll take you to the beach and back to your hotel for free! Works a lot like Uber or Lyft, and they cover the Fort Lauderdale area. Takes 15 minutes to wait for a ride, and they take you in an electric golf cart. The drivers are very nice and they’ll take you up and down Las Olas Blvd. amazing cars on this strip to salivate over. Fun area to walk around, especially if you're in the mood for a sidewalk cafe or bakery. We didn't see much we'd actually buy on the street, except for the restaurant food. Ate at Louie Bossie's italian restaurant and had awesome pizza. The are is good for an hour or two diversion if you're in Ft. Lauderdale. There are public parking lots behind some of the buildings, $3 the first hour, and $1.50 for subsequent hours. You have to use the pay machine to print a ticket to put on your dashboard. Take a picture of your license plate before you go to the machine, because you'll have to enter it into the pay lot machine.…

About a 15 minute drive from FLL airport. Pretty vibrant street, lined with many restuarants & shops. We enjoyed gelato as we strolled. We also made our way to the Riverwalk area and watched the many boats go by.
