Relaxing walk along the water.

We enjoyed the walk along the waterway; visited with the lizards and red-headed ducks along the way. There is an exercise area in the park and the Art museum is right there... read more

I wound up at the Riverwalk only because my daughter and I were doing the Puzzling Adventures there. Just like the other two visits, the buildings are mostly vacant with signs to be leased. They seem to be building a train, so that may change eventually. For now, if you are visiting Fort Lauderdale, don't waste your time, there are... More

The river walk is nice but there are hardly any shops. Most of the buildings are vacant and are for sale or lease. There is a bit of graffiti as well. If you are there to see the river, yachts, and learn history about Fort Lauderdale then it's great. Otherwise it's a bit lacking.

We enjoyed the walk along the waterway; visited with the lizards and red-headed ducks along the way. There is an exercise area in the park and the Art museum is right there. There is a little parking lot right behind the Historic Downtowner restaurant, so we went for our walk and then ate there. Would have been even better if... More

Developed about 15 years ago. Nice area to walk and see New River and the adjacent boats and restaurants. Insight into old Lauderdale before the focus on the beach. Check out the Bonnet House

most of the restaurants are gone. It is still a pretty place to walk around but certainly not what it was year ago.

Need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city? Take a stroll by the Riverwalk. Watch the nice boats go by and dream of yourself on one. 1st Sunday of month, go and listen to Jazz at the Ft. Laud. Jazz Brunch. Great music and people watching!

You can park for free in the back streets north of Las Olas and walk up along the river. Lots of yachts are moored there and they have a free jazz concert on the first Sunday of every month

I think most of the people who enjoyed the Riverwalk ,for whatever reason, it was during the daytime, which I agree. I haven't been to Riverwalk for a couple of years and when I went tonight I was a little disappointed. I lot of the buildings were shut down and few vendors opened. With the use residential and office complexes... More
